About EMIRATES Jaycees Chamber of Commerce

What is Emirates Chamber of Commerce

ECOM is a business platform created exclusively for JCI ALUMNI members. It provides unique opportunities for business growth, networking, and collaboration.

How ECOM Works

Every business needs new connections, problem-solving support, skill enhancement, and expansion opportunities. ECOM Table Meetings are designed to help members achieve these goals through structured networking and knowledge-sharing.

ECOM Tables

  • A "CHAPTER" is an individual business group in a specific city or town.
  • Multiple CHAPTERS can exist in one location.
  • Membership in a table is open to JCI ALUMNI members from any Local Organization (ECOM).

2

Present your business through Business Flash and Showcase.

3

Exchange G-Notes actively.

4

Keep learning through training and mentorship.

5

Invite new guests to the network.

Attendance Policy

Consistent attendance is essential for growth.

  • Maximum of six absences are allowed in a six-month period.
  • Exceeding this limit leads to suspension of membership and access privileges.
  • Rejoining is possible only with approval from the JCOM National Body.

Business Flash Guidelines

Purpose:

To make a strong impression, seek business connections, and promote your brand effectively.

Structure:

  1. Introduce yourself and your company.
  2. Describe your product or service.
  3. Specify the type of connections you seek.

Professional Presentation

  • Dress in formal business attire (blazer, formal shirt, and trousers or Modi jacket).
  • Appearance reflects professionalism and respect for the platform.
  • Dress codes may vary for special occasions.

G-Notes – The Heart of Networking

The principle of G-Notes is "Give and Take."

  • The more business you help others achieve, the more opportunities return to you.
  • Receiving G-Notes means others are grateful for your referrals.
  • Giving G-Notes means you've gained from the network.

Continuous Learning

  • Successful people never stop learning.
  • Implementing what you learn brings real progress.
  • Don't miss Learning Meets—every session adds value to your growth.

Invitees – The Key to New Opportunities

  • Invitees are new contacts introduced by members.
  • They bring fresh business prospects beyond your existing circle.
  • Since they come through trusted members, the success rate is much higher than cold calls.

Keep inviting new guests consistently!
